Hi Everyone. Merlin Woods would like to thank everyone who took part in the summer camp this week, a great turnout and brilliant camp.

Merlin Woods sports club is now taking the traditional Galway holiday of race week as our time off and will see everyone on the tuesday after the bank holiday in August. The club takes only 3 weeks break a year at Easter, Christmas and the Galwegian traditional holiday of the Galway Races week. Galway families for generations enjoy this week like no other. Merlin Woods wishes our county hurlers , gaelic footballers and Galway United soccer players the best of luck in the games this weekend. Thanks to all the people for attending our medal and certificate presentation today, Fr Martin Glynn PP Good Shepherd parish Doughiska Roscam and Ardaun and to parish Curate Fr John O Halloran, Also to Paula Walsh from the ARD resource centre Galway sports partnership, Natasha from the family resource centre at Cumasu and Dan Hurley from the DRA Doughiska Roscam Ardaun community development body. Everyone at www.merlinwoods.ie really appreciates your presence pitchside as it gives everyone, participants, parents kids and coaches a huge boost. Also thank you to the parents and fantastic children, the Coaches led by Don O Riordan UEFA pro licenced coach, Cathy, Fang Fang and the to Patryk , Valerie and Owen Carroll helping all week. Thank you sincerely for your growth mindset thinking and demonstrations. Lastly big thank you to Sean Cleary and Pat Joyce and the staff at Joyces Supermarket Doughiska for your generosity all week. Community spirit amazing all week.
