Merlin Woods Sports Clubs and Castlegar Athletics are delighted to see our floodlights turned back on this evening. We especially thank Dan, Paul and Paula at the ARD resource centre who despite enduring a traumatic day with the flooding of our resource centre managed to pull out all the stops and get the lights on.. Huge thanks also to Cllr Mike Crowe and Alan Cheevers who battled tirelessly at meetings with our City Council to get the lights on for the kids of the area. This is a big boost to the amount of time the clubs can now deliver to ensure structured safe participation can be delivered during the winter. Watch this space.
